On top of detaining U.S. citizens, ICE is now fining legal residents for not carrying their papers.

It was never about going after the “worst of the worst.” It was always about cruelty.

Open enrollment for ACA plans began yesterday in Idaho.

One couple got notice that their monthly premium next year would jump from $51 to $2,232 as subsidies expire.

25,000 Idahoans are expected to be priced out of coverage.

This is what's at stake in Trump's shutdown.

Most Americans/US media are aware of K-Pop and know of Korean-US population. But have not lived or worked in ROK. Lack a sense of on what points, and why, Korean history, dignity, and self-respect are at stake.

If the US *wanted* to offend a crucial partner, it could not have done worse.
Meanwhile in Korean media there is clarity that Trump directed this raid out of spite following his Oval Office meeting with the ROK President, who pushed back aggressively on Trump's praise for the North Korean dictator. They're right. US media have no clue of what's going on.

Trump sold his campaign of cruelty against immigrants by saying he'd focus on criminals. Now it's clear that he's persecuting hard-working people who make our economy work. Polls show Trump's immigration policies are vastly unpopular.
Gallup has new polling on immigration. Topline findings:
-Americans hate Trump's immigration policy (35% approve, 62% disapprove)
-Share who say immigration is a "good thing" for the country just hit an all-time high (79%)
