And just like that, the ‘No New Wars’ people are all-in on a new war. Proving yet again that they really believe in nothing other than what one man tells them to believe today. Which could be different tomorrow. The very definition of a cult.

J. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the smartest Supreme Court justice—by far.
Her Honor’s recent dissent is required reading—especially Footnote 12, wherein Her Honor calls out her supposedly originalist colleagues.

I hate the way Iran treats its women.

But a country that kept a brain dead woman alive to force her to give birth, and forced her family to pay for it all against their wishes,

hardly has a leg to stand on.

We treat women like beasts of burden and take away their agency right here.

So…🤷🏽‍♀️

"Dummy" is Portishead's debut album, blending dark, mysterious, bluesy sounds with hip hop beats. It feels both retro and ahead of its time, remaining captivating and innovative since 1994. An album that still impresses today! #cdfriday

No, we didn’t ☹️
A reminder that whilst an overt racist neo-Nazi fascist white supremacist is flopping around in the White House, it was President Joe Biden who signed legislation that officially made Juneteenth a federal holiday. We didn’t deserve him.

Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium.

ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

It was a surreal, full-circle moment to witness endangered tidewater gobies -- a cute endangered fish -- be returned to a lagoon scorched by the Palisades fire yesterday.

I was there in January when scientists scooped them out in the nick of time. www.latimes.com/environment/...

Hey - the genius of American science created life-saving medical treatments, but the geniuses from Tesla and SpaceX fired everyone we need to administer them to patients. But, don’t worry, we’ve authorized hiring some contractors. They’ll be ready by Christmas, if your cancer hasn’t spread too far.

Covered countless press conferences in 20+ yrs in journalism. I've seen critics, including elected officials, show up to question/confront speakers. I've never seen anything like this in response.
Here's another angle from Fox News reporter Bill Melugin of Sen. Alex Padilla getting roughed up by law enforcement after he tries to question Kristi Noem at her presser:

“I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary. Because the fact of the matter is, a half dozen... Hands off!”

That study was made possible with federal funding. Now, many studies like this are canceled. hub.jhu.edu/2025/06/04/...
