Just signed. All of my tech homies should really read and consider. It’s important.
Remember when the internet wasn't awful? We can go back to that.

Some friends and I have released the Resonant Computing Manifesto: a call to bring back such a time, to see if we can bring back a world where technology works for us, rather than against us.

The Resonant Computing Manifesto
Technology should bring out the best in humanity, not the worst—a manifesto for resonant computing built on five principles that reject hyper-scale extraction for human flourishing.

Food bank director: “for every meal that a food bank provides, the SNAP program provides nine. There’s no way we can meet that gap.”

Everyone deserves to have food, shelter, and warmth.

To say someone doesn't deserve these things is inhumane. Looking upon others and treating them with compassion is what almost every religion says to do... and yet.

My birthday is this week.

Instead of anything directly to me, please consider giving to a local food bank. Given the loss of SNAP benefits on November 1st, more people than ever will face hunger and food insecurity.

If there’s not a local food bank near you, please consider this one 🙏🏻

Conservatives who hoped that Leo, the first U.S.-born pope, would be more of a traditionalist instead hear echoes of his predecessor, Francis, in his public statements.

Zen doesn’t solve problems. It simple brings you back to the place that can’t ever be left.

So, forced time off the app. Go sit.
if @bsky.app introduced a "Zen Mode" — what do you think it would be? what problem would you want it to solve?

3/3 Pick 2 things that are relevant to you and yours, and start doing them. Constructive actions. 1st, however, you must embrace and accept that what you don’t want to admit is happening, is, in fact…happening.

Believe me when I tell you that calm will follow. Why? Because denial is exhausting.
