Daily Mail tragedy in 3 acts

22 June 2016 (day before referendum): Pro-Leave editorial. One reason: too many immigrants from Eastern Europe.

24 June 2016: Brexit vote outcome means many Poles will decide to return home

13 December 2025: Oh no, where have the Poles gone?

All the signs were there!

60,000 people – 0.001% of the world’s population – control three times as much wealth as the entire bottom half of humanity.

Top 10% earn more than the other 90%.

They control govts, means of production; inflict civil strife, deaths; thwart possibilities of democracy.

Tax the rich.
Just 0.001% hold three times the wealth of poorest half of humanity, report finds
Data from World Inequality Report also showed top 10% of income-earners earn more than the other 90%

Ukraine could be an EU member within a couple of years.

But apparently a UK deal on a customs union is a complete impossibility.

Things move when political leadership demands it.

How in the world are people not seeing what’s happening here?

Jenrick, Farage, Lowe and every other right winger is absolutely going to be celebrating this.

The UK flag flew at the European Parliament for 47 years

Brexit brought it down on 31st Jan 2020

The US under Trump, the US siding with Russia instead of the UK and Europe, the world has changed

The sooner the UK flag is raised up again at the European Parliament, the better

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

Covid fraud under the Tories cost the UK taxpayer £10.9bn.

VIP lanes and crony contracts.

Lack of anti-fraud controls in Covid scheme.
Money handed out for non-existent employees
Newly formed companies got public money
No competitive tenders
Poor checks on quality.

How much would be recovered?

Trump has never really achieved much. He's only rich because he inherited a fortune.

His Art of the Deal brilliance is a myth, and all the things he's famous for, including that book and The Apprentice were made by other people.

His craving for prizes represents a desperate need for validation.
