I gotta be honest here I don't think complaining that a Doctor Who episode by a trans woman that isn't about Palestine doesn't do enough to advocate for Palestinian liberation is particularly effective activism.

8 years since my favourite series opener. 'The Pilot' is, for me, sheer bloomin' magic. Almost everything I love about DW is here. Smart, funny, creepy, imaginative, heartfelt, daft, and wondrous. Beautifully shot, perfectly performed (Capaldi & Mackie are sensational), & endlessly re-watchable.

Anyone else love The Space Museum? Just watched it for the first time in ages, completely forgot how good it was! Funny, clever and timey-wimey, brilliantly experimental, and stars one of the best TARDIS teams ever. Definitely needs more love.

For me it's the War Games. A mystery that slowly reveals more and more throughout ten episodes, leading up to a devastating culmination of the first six seasons of DW. Great side characters, great pace, genius concept. Almost a whole miniseries in its own right.
