Stephen Miller is a liar and a propagandist and while there is clear value in understanding what he's saying as a means of understanding what the administration is doing, not a single fact out of his mouth can be trusted.
Stephen Miller claims on Fox News that returning the Maryland father who was wrongly deported to El Salvador would constitute a "kidnapping" and "invasion of El Salvador's sovereignty."

"He was not mistakenly sent to El Salvador," Miller lies. "This was the right person sent to the right place."

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.

You would think that, if the President intentionally and knowingly expelled a US citizen to a foreign torture prison, they would face criminal liability for doing so.

SCOTUS: you would probably be wrong!
And to be clear, the government's argument in the Abrego Garcia case would apply even if it sent someone, including a U.S. citizen, to a foreign prison intentionally and with full knowledge that it was violating the law in doing so.
If the Supreme Court decides that the government can "erroneously" disappear you off the street to a foreign torture prison, and that federal courts have no power to do anything about it, that is, in a meaningful way, Pretty Much It www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/24...

Three-fourths of the Venezuelan migrants flown from Texas to a notorious maximum security prison in El Salvador three weeks ago had no apparent criminal record, a CBS News 60 Minutes report found.
Report: Most migrants sent to mega-prison have no apparent criminal record
The lack of evidence of a criminal record is consistent with other immigrant removals under the Trump administration.

We don’t if they were gang members, only that Trump’s DOJ says they were. But they’ve had no trials. They are “accused.” They are “alleged” to be members of a gang that Trump has named. And now they are vanished.

This is an actual nightmare and we should be up in arms.
250 Venezuelans have been disappeared into one of the worst prisons in Central America based on Trump’s invocation of a law only used 3 times in our history - the last time resulted in the Japanese-American internment. These men have had no due process. It’s monstrous.

Trump’s invocation of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport a planeload of Venezuelans is outrageous in many ways, including from an asylum law perspective. Both Trump admins have insisted that ppl fleeing gang violence are not eligible for asylum in part bc gangs are NOT state actors, and YET…. 👇🏻

A letter from the Trump administration warns educational institutions that they’ll lose federal funding if they don’t abandon so-called DEI programs. That could change education in the US.
