And this was interestingly unanimous— and not being that well reflected yet in the offerings from actual Dem politicians. Word to the wise

The world's richest man is broadcasting eliminationist rhetoric about a tiny, vulnerable minority, and virtually no one is going to treat it as a scandal. It's just normal now.

I’ve proposed legislation this year and last that would help keep us safe, but the GOP keeps putting profits over people and killing reasonable bills. Enough is enough.

The politicians they have bought and paid for are working against the public interest to allow their products to cause more damage, even preempting local control and preventing local governments from protecting their residents.

Utah has some of the most permissive gun laws in the nation already. Right now, Republicans are trying to gut regulations that hold big companies like fossil fuel producers and gun manufacturers liable for damages caused by their products.

Every Utahn needs to hear how desperately the Republican party is holding on and how dirty they are willing to play to keep power. Republicans are a party of the few and the wealthy, not of the people.
Republicans brought in millions of dollars from outside the state, used national surrogates and misinformation, and hired shady contractors accused of fraud to try to overturn Prop 4. They’re not going to succeed regardless of the sketchy tactics they’re using to interfere in our elections.

Spread the word, help a candidate you like, and tell your friends and family to get their signature removed if they were one of the thousands who were misled.

They rigged the process against us and now they’re working hard to suppress Utahns from engaging in the civic process. Don’t. Do the opposite. Now more than ever, we need you to be involved.

The GOP spent millions of dollars of Trump money, lied to voters & are prematurely gloating about the success of their effort to repeal a voter-backed initiative to take power away from politicians to choose their voters.

Don't let them win & steal your voice.

Gov. Cox wasted no time in signing, ensuring his legacy will be remembered as severely injuring constitutional checks and balances. Talk about being out of touch.

Their rush to pass through major reforms to Utah's judiciary should worry everyone, because they're trying to save face after putting forward an embarrassing effort to overturn Prop 4 via initiative.

The Utah GOP's efforts to undermine our courts clearly has Pres. Adams rankled because he wouldn't let me explain why I don't support politicizing our lauded court system to overturn a couple decisions the supermajority disagreed with.

was amended out of nowhere to give voter data to third party vendors to kick registered voters off the rolls. I was happy to stop this bill in its tracks and believe if the legislature wants to rebuild trust with voters that the Republican supermajority must stop letting these shenanigans happen.
February 13, 2026 at 10:57 PM
People are tired of the legislature playing games and of legislators like Rep. Trevor Lee using the process to make good bills turn bad. What started as a bill to allow people to register to vote while they signed up for a hunting or fishing license...

the answer is yes
SB 255, sponsored by @nateforutah.bsky.social, would create a short term task force to identify the types of housing Utah needs to reduce homelessness before the 2034 Games and what kinds of investment tools can be created to bring funding to Utah to help produce that housing.

Our major utility here in Utah knows clean energy makes electricity bills go down, so it’s sad to see Republicans continue to attack projects that are the quickest way to put new electrons on the grid. In DC, we can set the standard higher so that the legislature here in UT can’t do so much damage.
February 13, 2026 at 4:29 AM
I’m always happy to set the record straight when it comes to clean, affordable energy, which is what we get from things like solar, wind, and geothermal.
