FF12 really had the audacity to look at Han Solo and Chewbacca and go "What if we made the first guy a metrosexual and the second guy into a beautiful woman with rabbit ears and armored lingerie?" and nobody before or since has ever had a more amazing idea.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

LRS this is also fucking gold I’m dying.

I love thinking “oh yeah that guy who made Aisle made it big” (I can still see where I was sitting when I played Aisle in college.)

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

Seattle media, tonight, is going as close as possible to saying Katie Wilson won the mayoral race — without phrasing it as entirely final. (Which is all very defensible at this stage.)

Seattle is shaping up to be the left's second big mayoral win, a sort of West Coast companion to NYC.

JUST IN: Katie Wilson significantly extends her lead in the Seattle mayoral race.

She now leads Mayor Bruce Harrell by 1,346 votes, or 0.5%.

That's up from the squeaker-lead of 91 votes in yesterday's update). She won today's batch of nearly 6K ballots by 20% (!).

Not much left at this point.
