Which is what they’re doing already. So, expect a lot more of the same.
This raises the worrying prospect that overwhelming media power in Britain could be concentrated in the hands of a tiny number of very wealthy, extremely nasty and very right wing crackpots who will use it for malignant ends

People have to be really dumb to think that Capitalism makes people rich, it doesn't it just gives all the money to a handful of people.

For instance the USA is the 'richest country in the world'.

But the richest 3 people have more money than the poorest 170 million.

Newmarket MP Matt Hancock gave a £37bn Covid testing contract to Jockey Club director Dido Harding, who subcontracted it to Grand National sponsor Randox, employer of Tory MP Owen Paterson, whose late wife chaired Aintree racecourse. That's how the Tories handled the pandemic.

I note that former UKIP in Scotland leader David Coburn is also mentioned by the BBC as being involved in the Nathan Gill case, but has not been charged yet.

Gods, I just made the mistake of reading BTL on an FT story. Horrendous. All apparently men. Of course. The entitlement, privilege, and downright snobbery is suffocating.
I mean, having a go at Reeves for her accent?? Come the fuck on.

This is true in all cases. Respect and trust are something to be earned. Be suspicious of anyone who demands either of these from you with no proof or reason.
Just some advice for Peter Lawwell respect isn't something you demand its got to be earned.
When you show a lack off respect for the celtic support you can't then demand repect.

More powerful evidence of the disaster of #Brexit from @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social. If we’re to avoid yet more austerity, we need to start by rejoining the customs union & single market. Brexit was a reckless waste of money we simply can’t afford @europeanmovement.co.uk

The autumn budget will mop up some damage, but the true source of the economic crisis is clear. The government should now fix it – tragically, it won’t, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

Robbie Gibb who orchestrated the coup getting rid of Davie & Turness (because they were Tory & not Reform enough) won’t allow any investigation into Farage by the BBC under his watch, not unless it becomes too huge a story to ignore. Don’t expect anything from presstitute Chris Mason or Tory Laura
So as Nigel Farage has a good buddy & a long time prominent member of his Reform party jailed for taking Russian bribes, the BBCs Chris Mason thinks it is Keir Starmer who needs to be questioned over his leadership credentials.
Stop the gossip journalism & seek out a real story… Farage & Russia.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

It shows a distinct lack of Botox, (which many other actors pump into their faces, men & women, hence their lack of expression).
Good for her, she can still emote 😂
Probably because most people are used to actors faces not moving

I love your face, Claire. Best crier in film and tv history xx

Johnson spent years charming, bluffing, and backstabbing his way to the top.

Positioning himself as a latter-day Churchill when the moment came and leadership was desperately needed, he showed us who he was...

And thousands died.
