The truth isn’t at all hard to understand. I don’t know why it is so hard for some people. I think the variety is beautiful.

And it’s always interesting to see how many of our British actors went through Poirot, Marple or Foyle’s War in their early days. Here are just four (and pretty much every British male actor under 45 turned up in Band of Brothers which was filmed in N.London 😂)

Sheesh…Just watch the HK original.

Episode 3 of ‘Welcome to Derry’ and I’ve just cottoned on to who ‘Hallorann’ is. Duh! (Thought the name was familiar and it is the Stephen King universe, after all)

Tommy, the movie, is on the Sky at the moment. Ken Russell made some insane films, but all rather compelling.

Gibb not to be trusted with the BBC

Er..has he ever even paid tax?

Hell yeah, let’s have reruns of those CBeebies bedtime stories…(I had no idea about these until a huddle of mums at the school gates clued me in). My biggest surprise was seeing Josh Homme from QOTSA reading one 😧

Just a reminder of how it goes (from the BBC trust and a respected journalist)

Do not judge me. It’s not for you. (I like musky vanillas)

Does it count as a ‘guilty pleasure’ film? I rarely watch movies twice, let alone multiple times, but I can’t resist watching ‘Battleship’ any time it turns up on the TV. (And there’s Taylor Kitsch too, I mean, woof!)

Goodbye Tim Davie and Deborah Turness. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
But will the remaining Tory hierarchy (Robbie Gibb & John McAndrew) refuse to work for anyone impartial?

Not sorry to see him go. Heaven knows who might replace him though 😕

‘Welcome to Derry’ is proving more hard-core scary than I expected. Kids getting proper traumatised.

Let’s not forget Musk’s other famous pronouncement

Female celebrities should really just steer clear of social media. Only way to avoid the sickos and obsessed ‘super fans’

‘Oh! What a Lovely War’ compulsory viewing for Remembrance Day. Richard Attenborough’s directorial debut, with an ensemble cast inc. Maggie Smith, Dirk Bogarde, John Gielgud, John Mills, Kenneth More, Laurence Olivier, Ian Holm, Vanessa Redgrave etc, basically anyone who was anyone in film in 1969

@brimcrob.bsky.social Look what it's like around here. November? Seriously,?

All you need is a posh voice and a superior attitude and all the latent feudalism of the British emerges (but they don’t fool everyone)
November 7, 2025 at 9:34 AM
Just come across one of the gold coins I have from the John Wick universe (they gave them out at the press screening). Could come in handy if I need someone from the Ruska Roma to do me a little favour…😏

Yes, even in his earlier films Frasier had an endearing quality. But his early career wasn’t all Beefcake roles. I remember seeing him in ‘The Quiet American, ‘Gods and Monsters, ‘Journey to the End of the Night’ and ‘Crash’.
