Listening to records I acquired from a queer extended family member who died from cancer recently while meditating on the fresh grief of unexpectedly losing my most profound CripQueer mentor and cherished friend just last week. something I Love about wearing a ventilator at night is that when I first put my mask on, it always faintly smells like the night before. so when I get home from being somewhere nice, I'm taken back to the comfort of the prior night's experience 🥰

My life quite literally depends on my ability to continue accessing my ventilator and being able to avoid respiratory illness. My vent supplies have been slowly degrading for the last several months and my homecare company has now fully automated their communication systems due to budget cuts.

last year I used TDOV as an excuse to fasten the pace of the slowest burn of goddamn my life and took (what at the time felt like a risk) of explicitly hitting on my now-girlfriend, telling her that I saw her 👀 and thought she was hot 🔥 & my life has been one million percent better every day since ❤️🔥

People have been saying for as long as I can remember that it is weird western media is more comfortable with torture than kissing; the most extreme violence is more acceptable than intimacy.
