I would not play the Harry Potter game if it was free. I wouldn’t play the Harry Potter game if you paid me.

Haven’t played a good RPG in a while so I was thinking about getting Vampire: The Masquerade but boy did the reviews on steam convince me not to. If the game doesn’t even save correctly then I’m definitely not spending $80 CAD on it.

Emerald Fennell would make a vampire movie just to shoot a close-up where the vampire character takes a shot out of a menstrual cup.

The more I see how horrible tech companies are, the more I think about what a good job the Horizon Forbidden West team did writing the part of the story where you explore Ted Faro’s bunker.

fascinating how trans rights went from a no brainer issue to this supposedly rhetorically impossible boutique issue that we must all collectively decide is a bridge too far in less than a decade. a handful people made a transparent choice to go after us out in the open. we ain't going away, folks.

I played Veilguard last winter and thought it was okay, not nearly as bad as some reviewers thought, but this does explain why the story often felt disjointed.
NEW: What went wrong with Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Why was the writing so tonally inconsistent? Why did it feel so shallow? Why were there so few choices?

Really, after ten years of turbulence, it was a miracle that anything came out at all. This is the story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

60 years ago, George Grant declared that Canada was dead, sparking a surge of a nationalism.

Here’s Luke Savage on the unlikely success of “Lament for a Nation,” and the enduring appeal (and prescience) of its message. Great read.

George Grant's "Lament for a Nation" is surprisingly relevant again in the era of Donald Trump.

When I worked as a cook, I knew a guy who once snorted coke off of a sheet pan in plain view of customers. Even he hid it better than this.
This was today… Sotally tober… NYT clearly way off base…

An accessibility feature I’d like to see in games is the option to completely disable the parry system. I don’t want the tutorial
to even tell me parrying is possible in the game
