I forget, is Cracker Barrel in that "first they came for" poem?
A Legal group founded by Stephen Miller calls for federal and Tennessee investigations into Cracker Barrel for its DEI policies — “because initiatives are focused on supporting workers who are women, Black, LGBTQ+, or Latino”

There is likely no trade deal with Japan. There's no agreement to review. No text. Even in this article, the author notes that Japan hasn't even confirmed the existence of an agreement.

So why report that there's a trade deal if we know Trump lies and there's no agreement?
Trump announces trade deal with Japan
The two countries had been at an impasse on trade talks for months.

This is awesome and worth listening to. I remember asking my dad questions like this as a child and he would give detailed, complex answers, often using a slide ruler or protractor and my eyes would glaze over. Even so, I always appreciated he didn't underestimate my brain. :) Norm.

All I had to read was "in an interview with Dr. Phil" and I was done. Again this is NOT NORMAL.

This intriguing image shows two distant interacting galaxies, collectively called Arp 142, resembling a penguin guarding an egg.

The image combines data from NASA's Spitzer (infrared light) and Hubble (visible light) telescopes.

AOC: It’s bone-chilling. Every day, there’s something new. And today, we saw Trump express openness to sending U.S. citizens to foreign prisons without due process. It’s anti-American.

Now it's come full circle and made *me* smile, because @meganseling.bsky.social at @thestranger.com over in Seattle decided it would make a good cartoon, and got Greg Stump to draw one. 😁 www.thestranger.com/climate-issu...

This is cool! Mine is Hubble Ultra Deep Field. #hubble
This image includes infrared observations that allowed Hubble to peer deeper into the universe than it ever had before. The faintest and reddest objects in the image are galaxies that formed 600 million years after the big bang.
