For years, people argued that there's no point in taking climate action unless China is onboard. I'm at a COP30 event where Chinese government officials and renewable industry reps are outlining the fast-paced renewable energy transition and long-term carbon neutrality plan. The story has flipped.

This "city" is something. Two sporting events with the potential of 16,000 ppl traveling downtown, one bridge closed. No problem we will take the ferry.... except 70% of the parking lot is closed and the ferry is still running on a 30 min schedule. The 6pm ferry full with 50 more already waiting.

Got this due dropped at the National Ballet School yesterday, his next chapter kicks off today. Navigating the devastation and pride as I tried to keep it together while driving away was impossible, luckily I have a 13 hour drive home to think about it today. But he seemed content and ready!
