Kid3 is 14 today. This is going to hit a lot of you right in the ageing, because he was a HaliTwitter baby like, yesterday? Maybe last week?
Anyway he's 14 and he's an awesome kid. Equally capable of deep empathy & kindness and yelling "oh COME THE FUCK ON" when the occasion calls for it.

And just like that... Kid3's room is definitely for a teen, not a little kid, which is long overdue and he's so happy
But when he thanked me for everything and then said "I'm just going to close my door and game until dinner" I felt a little wrench
They're growing up and I love that, I do! But oof

He did an amazing job, there's a huge pile of books and toys to donate, and he didn't complain once
He's getting rewarded with a new desk of his choosing

So far, going well! Lots of books and toys in good condition to donate, one corner of the room is now clear as is the closet.

I finally slept the night through for the first time the whole holiday break. Got up, did a yoga practice for the first time in I don't know how long. Put on coffee.
