I think one of the worst things about being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, is realizing the perceived laziness, selective hearing, forgetfulness, boredom, or lack of motivation etc. was really your brain struggling to function in a world that doesn't accommodate the neurodivergent, and not...

conservatives are increasingly going to deal with issues because they treat a man being murdered in broad daylight and a beloved character being recast with a black actor as the exact same level of severity. everything is a crisis and the only acceptable response is to "crush" the enemy

Remembering MN house speaker Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark and their beloved dog Gilbert. Murdered in June at their home by a rightwing Trump-voting evangelist, who also shot another MN lawmaker and his wife at THEIR home, 9 and 8 times, respectively (miraculously, they survived).

Just to answer this Q: yes there are a ton of bolt action rifles that are meant to fold easily into a pack. But you could also pop out a pin in an AR platform rifle and fold it well enough to fit into a normal bag

So far could be almost any rifle per what we know

Vance Boelter, a Trump, GOP voting Christian nationalist, was radicalized in part by QAnon, the same conspiracy promoted by Trump and Republicans, even though they knew it had radicalized others to commit violence.

Boelter had a hit list of 70 liberals. He killed Melissa Hortmann and her husband.

NEW: Tonight, this is all that remains of Nepal's seat of government in Kathmandu.

Singha Durbar was the largest palace in Asia; home to the Prime Minister & government offices.

A 48-hour revolution, led by Gen Z protestors, has toppled the government & left large parts of the capital in flames.

Vehement disagreement isn't authoritarianism, but cops and bosses existing is authoritarianism.
Because "liberal" blocks them from enacting thrir version of authoritarianism. Leftists want fealty..as much as right wingers do.

I think after all is said and done, we will see a fast radicalization of people whose previous acts of rebellion stopped at the ballot box. They WILL face police brutality head on and be forced to reckon with the power of a violent regime. Once that line is crossed it's impossible to ignore.

I'm just hopping on real quick to remind everyone to take care of yourselves and check on your loved ones. Shit is getting real, real fast and now's the time to lean on your community. Don't be afraid to care for yourself. Sometimes the best way to help others is self care and burnout mitigation.

Being a teacher myself, I know how hard it is to balance curriculum, state testing, meetings, etc. But sometimes I find it crazy how little world history was actually taught. I'm reading "King Leopold's ghost" right now and don't understand how Leopold's actions in the congo aren't common knowledge.

The reason I like Kropotkin so much, is because he often has such an optimistic view of the human condition. But once you start thinking that optimism comes from naivete, he drops a banger like this and shows that his outlook is actually much more calculated than at first glance.
'Men are not good enough for Communism, but are they good enough for Capitalism? If all men were good-hearted, kind, and just, they would never exploit one another, although possessing the means of doing so. With such men the private ownership of capital would be no danger' (Peter Kropotkin)

It's a lot more difficult to inflict massive harm when you don't wield the violence of massive authority.

It's a lot more difficult to inflict massive harm when people refuse to be complicit by holding up structures wherein a small minority holds a monopoly on violence, a state.

This just in .. the token "good billionaire" approves American imperialism because he deems it fiscally responsible. Fuck off Mark, in what way is stealing recourses from the Ukrainians good for them? When has this ever worked out for the smaller party?
Got to say I LOVE the Trump Administration negotiating to get Rare Minerals from Ukraine, for 2 reasons:
1. It reduces our dependence on China for Lithium and Graphite (China provides near 70% of world supply)
2. More than 50% of those minerals are in Russian Annexed land.

This is what the blue fascist said by the way. Standing by as genocide wracks your streets is just as bad as voting for it in the first place. Most of those people either didn't, or couldn't vote for Trump. Supporting genocide because some of them MIGHT have voted for it, is fascist.

"If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal" -Emma Goldman

Voting got us here. Your vote won't cover up your blue fascist ideology. All you did to douse fascism's flame was place a ballot in a box. Instead of doing something to help your community, you're here revelling in its genocide.
Don’t Blame me! I voted againt this travesty. It didnt have to be like this! Their anti-Black racism wouldnt let them vote for the Black woman. It was a very self destructive decision. Now Gaxa, Ukraine & everyone else has to suffer. www.detroitnews.com/story/news/p...

I recommend everyone to read "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K. LeGuin. I have been a student of anarchism for 4 years now and identifying as one for 2. No theorist has been able to cogently paint a picture of a possible anarchist society including its flaws quite as well as LeGuin's fiction can.

Even the most disturbing RFK Jr. headline always manages to have a detail inside creepier than you could have imagined. I’m sorry, did you just say Black kids should have a chance to get “re-parented”???? Gift link wapo.st/4hW2xGI

This can't be sustainable. The programs Musk is cutting impact the well-being of everyone not just his enemies. I can't think that those who voted for Trump will accept this forever. Is it too much to think that selfish people won't accept their unending suffering just to get back at the left? Idk

Ironically this has gotten worse AFTER starting my meds. Before I was so tired I didn't have any energy for learning a new hobby, but now it's so much easier to focus so I try to do everything I wanted to do in the past. I still can't stop losing interest though lol
It’s fun starting a new hobby with ADHD because I never know if I’ve found a new lifelong passion or if I’m going to spend $2000 on stuff and immediately lose all interest

Don't fucking RT this liberal logic. This is how libs justify anarchists getting slaughtered.

It's a fairly recurring notion that because we disagree with the existence of the state and thus reject the "social contract", the state should feel no constraint on torturing and exterminating us.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: an administration (and its supporters) who believe that they are not limited by the rule of law have no moral or philosophical claim to the protection of the rule of law. “The law is whatever we say it is” warrants the same in response.
