Just a reminder that Clair Obscur was caught doing almost exactly the same thing FIRST (launching with some AI 'placeholder' textures that got patched) and yet somehow caught like a tenth of the flak.

first-time tips:
- the early levels are punishing but it lets up around hong kong.
- there's no wrong build, though avoid swimming maybe.
- you'll see people recc computers as mandatory. however, *not* taking it requires you to engage with the world more for passwords. i find it more immersive.

anyway, please play the original. i'll always advocate for an authentic playthrough with compat patches but if you're still hankering for some form of remastering, Revision's free and offers a decently vanilla option once configured a bit. it's even got a steampage, meaning a no-fuss install.
