Not to be cringe, but I'm surprised I am emotional seeing the East Wing demolition. My first job in DC was interning and going to meetings there regularly. I learned everything about it while giving guided tours. The beauty of the East Wing is that everyone can go there. It's America's house.

I don’t know, I just don’t think we should be making decisions with geopolitical implications that could result in millions of deaths and catastrophic damage based on a passage in Genesis.

This seems really bad. No training or fitness tests? Do they even have to take the oath to the Constitution?

It's pretty notable that mainstream, establishment discourse never ever ever considers giving liberal politicians credit for crime reductions. It's almost axiomatic that if crime goes down under a center-left leader it's either unremarked upon, or must be driven by something else.

The cowardice of the Congressional GOP to not put guardrails on the lunatic in the Oval Office - as they are required to by oath - is overwhelming at times.

I’d read that
How many reporters are currently working on tell-all exposés about their own organization, detailing all the acts of cowardice of their editors and publishers?

I won’t ever buy your book about Sleepy Joe Biden, but I’d absolutely devour a book about the internal collapse of the NYT or CNN.

I hope every elected official, business owner, university president, and media executive sees the millions of people out in the streets today and understands: If we fight back, this is the power on our side.

Yes
So… a coup?
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

Still mind-boggling to me that Trump paid absolutely no reputational price in the media for massively endangering 🇺🇸 national security & shredding our credibility in int’l negotiations by unilaterally withdrawing from the JCPOA. Literally, it had no effect on The Narrative™️ of coverage about him 🤷‍♂️
America did make a deal with Iran. He broke it.
@TheEconomist: Some around Donald Trump will urge him to push for regime change in Iran in his second term.

But the president-elect seems unconvinced. America, he said recently, must make a deal with Iran because the consequences of not having one are “impossible” 🌐

There's a fun little nesting doll of fascism in this, from

-They tackled and handcuffed a US Senator
-For asking a question of an admin official
-Who had just stated plainly that the federal government wanted to "liberate" a city/state from its leaders

Ya, you DID vote for this. Now we’re all in hell.
Pentagon is out with a FULL COURT PRESS publicizing that the United States had nothing to do with Israel’s attack on Iran. CNN and MSNBC are each reporting directly from DOD.

They really don’t want the Iranians to hold us responsible.

Meanwhile, Israel wants to roll us up into their mess…
