Does anyone have experience with the gastrointestinal panel from Biofire? We have as per the published literature noticed a lot of false positives with norovirus. Has anyone noticed this with other targets such as Yersinia or Clostridiodes? #biofire #idsky #microsky

The Fungitell serum (1-3)-β-D-glucan (BDG) assay is one non-invasive test; however, it only has moderate sensitivity and specificity. Selecting which patients to test and subsequently correctly interpreting the results is essential. #idsky

The utility of 2-[18F]FDG PET in evaluating disseminated nontuberculous mycobacterial infection in patients with anti-interferon-γ autoantibodies
Managing disseminated nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infection in patients with neutralizing anti-interferon-γ autoantibodies (AIGA) poses substantial challenges due to the lack of established treatment guidance and predictive tools for clinical outcomes.
