Mexico Expels 26 More Narco Prisoners To US Amid Trade Talks and Military Threat

This isn't theater as there are genuine big figures in transfer like Cuini, financial brain of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Will it be enough to placate Trump?

As always, a very interesting article by Martin Wolf. I think, however, that he underestimates how difficult it will be for China to raise domestic demand (I agree with Matthew Klein here).

Joe Nocera's piece on the backlash against our current form of globalization properly credits Dani Rodrik with being the first serious economist, and still the most important, to question the "quasi-theological" beliefs of neoliberal globalists.

I'm still don't think most folks are grasping the full scope and magnitude of *gestures wildly* everything going on at the moment.

But yes, I think the weather and climate and disaster research and operations decimations will likely come to a head at some discrete point, perhaps this summer/fall.

Driving from Fresno to Santa Barbara today, we listened in amazement as JOHN YOO—who legitimized torture policy under GWB—was warning about danger, cruelty, illegality of Trump deportations. So amazed we listened to same segment when rebroadcast came on

When you have lost John Yoo...

I’m always wary of being a PizzaGate guy, and falling prey to the idea that my political opponents are the devil incarnate and practicing every evil imaginable. I get that we shouldn’t lightly accuse people of Nazism. And yet - these Trumpers just can’t seem to STOP HANGING OUT WITH ACTUAL NAZIS.

That’s where we are. Officials at the highest level of government are Nazi sympathizers.
