That’s it, exactly. ICE is trying to figure out how to make us scared. They tried following us home, didn’t work. Tried threatening us with arrest, didn’t work. Tried arresting us, didn’t work. Tried tear-gassing us, didn’t work. People just keep not being afraid of them and following them around.
DHS went into this quagmire with a blank playbook and in the subsequent weeks they’ve done nothing but flail around waiting for people to be afraid of them. Or, in other words:

any federal agencies born after 2001 can’t cook. all they know is wear mask, drive badly, make martyrs, do racism and lie
One ICE guy stopped in the middle of a road in the middle of a block and turned on his lights, and it was thrilling to watch a whole fleet of commuters pull up one by one, parking at the top and bottom of the block, ahead, behind, covering all the exits, a kind of police standoff in reverse

Where is Jonathan Ross?

A month ago he killed Renee Good. Is he on the streets, armed and ready to take more lives? Is he in a cushy office somewhere, living a good life off the taxpayer dime. Is he at a training facility, teaching feds to step in front of cars, kill, and say they were afraid?

ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.
Federal judge rules DOJ can ‘no longer’ be trusted in voter roll crusade
The judge pointed to a letter from Bondi to Minnesota that tied federal immigration enforcement to demands for voter data as the smoking gun.

It’s striking and inexplicable that Senate Dems crumbled following decisive signals from the American electorate that Trump’s policies are deeply unpopular and Americans expect the Democrats to fight Trump and Republicans over healthcare, affordability, & be a check on his chaos.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

These 8 useless Democratic Senators are all wealthy and have feathered themselves a lovely retirement nest.

They don't need to be in these positions anymore.

They can amble away into the privileged nothingness that defines their spinelessness and lack of courage.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I once toured Atlanta’s 175-year-old Oakland Cemetery with a friend. Were struck by how many families lost multiple children within days of each other. We realized it was due to the lack of vaccines.

And this kooky, lying moron wants to take us back to those days. RFK Jr. should resign.
