The clean energy transition is moving faster than many people realize—but it can also be slowed more easily than most of us expect.

You can judge a person by the size of their moral circle. Trump, for instance, has the smallest possible moral circle, containing only him. Be the opposite: expand your circle. Include, for example, animals currently raised for food. We shut them out of our consciences. It's time to bring them in.

I want to see a side by side video with Charlie Chaplin on the left and Steven Miller on the right, switching between their most significant quotes. Could Chaplin illuminate Miller’s shortcomings best?

Listening to Natalie Merchant singing “Which side are you on boys?” I’m thinking a new organizing song might be “Which Earth are you on boys?” And I want 10,000 Peace maniacs to join with and hit every place of violence to make a wedge big enough to give a soldier a space to drop their weapon.

One of the difficult things about the conditions we find ourselves facing now is that they were incredibly predictable… and predicted.
Perpetual reminder: extreme rainfall events increase due to #globalheating. Weather station data show what has been predicted for over 30 years by climate scientists. These extremes are now far outside the historical climate.

Important and true. Most people do not want to trash out our home.
A huge 89% majority of global people [56% even in the United States] want stronger action to fight the #ClimateCrisis, but mistakenly believe they’re in a minority.

People want action. Smart cities are taking action. Nations should support city action.

Making concerned people aware their views are far from alone could unlock the change so urgently needed

Can anyone tell me why the phrase “aligning with the President’s political priorities” has legal standing for actions the current administration is undertaking? Isn’t the President’s power to faithfully execute the laws? The phrase sounds to me like an invention; akin to tweeting policy.

Every single DC journalist should be spending this afternoon/evening finding Speaker Johnson & John Thune & asking them why the impeachment/removal has not happened yet, & continuing to hammer them with the same question over & over & over & over again & not accepting the boilerplate non-answers.
The president just gathered the highest ranking officers in the military to tell them that he may order them to kill American citizens -- and that they better follow his orders. All in response to a series of crises that have no basis in reality.

I don't know how to yell any louder.
