Let's stop pretending that the billionaire media, endlessly attacking the BBC, has the slightest interest in balance, impartiality and accuracy. They won't be happy until the BBC is more rightwing than Vlad the Impaler. And then it still won't be enough.

Interesting post. The coalition "would exclude petrostates refusing to play by the same rules" (inc US currently) ... and “China is now making more money from exporting green technology than the US makes from exporting fossil fuels.”

Very powerful and much-needed stuff from @chrisgpackham.bsky.social I hope the MPs who supposedly represent us, and make decisions on our behalf, listen and act on the evidence.

This would be a reversal of over 30 years of inaction and delay, but as we teeter on the edge, it must be worth a try. 🤞
We're delighted that tireless advocate for the natural world, @chrisgpackham.bsky.social CBE, will be opening the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster Central Hall on 27th November.

Understandably over the moon that the incredible Chris Packham agreed to not only open the National Emergency Briefing, but also to do a series of high profile interviews about the initiative 👊🔥💚
I’ve just announced I’ll be leading a National Emergency Briefing on 27 November . At a time when climate is in free fall on the political agenda , it’s vital our leaders realise what is at stake if we do not accelerate a just , green transition for all .

Empty words from Milliband and Starmer. If the govt *really* cared about reducing the impacts of climate breakdown, it wouldn't be expanding airports, subsidising fossil fuels and considering licensing the huge Rosebank oilfield.

The UK media dehumanises migrants and refugees fleeing war zones, using terms such as invasion, flood, and illegals.

This is designed to stoke public hostility and legitimise political scapegoating.

Boycott billionaire-owned media.

It's not a coincidence, it's a crime.

Fossil fuel companies have known since 1954 that their pollution would cause mass catastrophe and mass casualty. But they lied, and lied, and lied to keep polluting.
From 1980-2002 THREE storms acheived extreme rapid intensification.
From 2003-2025 EIGHTEEN storms achieved extreme rapid intensification.
6X increase!
It’s not coincidence, it’s climate change!

Thank you to all who have supported this project to publish a blueprint for grassroots-driven next level tactical voting. It will be needed to keep out Reform UK, absent electoral reform.

BBC bias. Bring on the #MediaRevolution
So why does the BBC label the academic and economist Faiza Shaheen an "activist" but refuse to do the same for the former academic, turned anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin?

This isn’t a natural disaster.

It’s the result of decades of decisions by fossil fuel companies putting profits before lives.

They knew, they lied, and people are paying the price.

That it's about to be destroyed by a monster hurricane is climate injustice — aka climate colonialism, aka global capitalism — in action.
