Readers would never guess it from this Daily Mail headline but it is the *view* from the cottage that is allegedly under threat, rather than the actual cottage.

Absolutely wild to see hosts on Talk TV brazenly wave off the scientific consensus on climate change as 'just not true…a made-up stat' 🤦‍♂️😖

Companies who pay to advertise on Talk TV are enabling this kind of dangerous disinformation. Tell them to do better!

Fossil Ads
@badvertising.bsky.social

How to know you're being sold a pup

1. they're advertising fossil fuels
2. they're advertising something that burns fossil fuels
bsky.app/profile/prof...
If they're advertising fossil fuels, they're selling you a pup

If they're advertising something that burns fossil fuels, whether it's fossil gas-fired power station, or an ICE vehicle, you're also being sold a pup

According to this Talk radio/TV presenter, if we point out that climate science is "settled" (i.e. that climate change is caused by human activity, and the harms will get much worse if we don't take urgent action) this is "exactly the same as the Spanish Inquisition"...

So please, say more about media bias!
