Honestly as much as the looted objects themselves are cool I find the British museum boring specifically BECAUSE it's just a bunch of looted stuff, it doesn't tell you a story about the local culture other than some assholes with lots of money stole a bunch of stuff
"average museum is full of looted objects" factoid actualy just statistical error. average museum only has a few looted objects. british museum, which has 80000 looted objects, is an outlier and should not have been counted
