Yes, automated driving is a problem worth solving.
It is soon going to be conventional wisdom that automated driving will be everywhere in the near-future.

There will be all kinds of impact on the economy/people, from jobs to insurance to housing.

Deaf guy tried to show ICE his ID. An agent grabbed it and didn't return it.

So he tried to type a message about his disability but an agent grabbed his phone.

He was left w/ no way to communicate w/ the men seizing him.

He was a DACA recipient (a "dreamer"). He spent nearly a month in detention.

Absolutely. We should hope these protests are flooded with American flags. It messes up the anti-American narrative the right-wing media is using to keep people from associating these protests with the rich constitutional history of this nation. Don't allow them to do that! Optics matter folks!
As a Mexican born US citizen, I have a suggestion. At the moment only one party believes in checks and balances, due process, and First Amendment rights. That means only one party has the right to carry the American flag. We need to reclaim it. Force them to pick a new flag. They are not Patriots.

As US auto vendors become less competitive over time, we'll see this headline for other countries.

but hey, we'll always have our 8 cylinders even as the rest of the world has transitioned to EVs.

India needs to get a trade deal done with the US before iPhone shipments blow up the US trade deficit with the country.

The iPhone alone would double the trade deficit and make a trade deal much more difficult.

India is supposed to be the first trade deal.

The Indian press is reporting that the next round of negotations will be in-person at the end of May.

And now, a note on Bill Owens who, until this past week, was the executive producer of 60 Minutes.

We’ll be back next week with another edition of 60 Minutes.

Far left economic tail risks have been taken off the table.

We are left with 10% across the board tariffs, likely 30-60% China tariffs, plus coming sectoral tariffs.

Best thing for stocks/Trump is if the bond market starts acting normal again.

The only question is how Trump backs down without talks.
A long trade war will be hell on American families.

As a share of all US imports, China accounts for:

- 99% of child safety seats
- 96% of toys for pets
- 95% of cooking appliances
- 93% of coloring books for children
- 88% of microwave ovens
- 70+ % of toys intended for children under 12

Ackman not only supported tariffs generally, he specifically supported acting like a madman as a method in negotiations.

The markets fall 10% and now he’s talking about how businesses need certainty.

Give me a fucking break.

He’s an utter moron.

We had one path out of this and that was not having China/EU react too harshly.

China just blew that up.

Don't get anchored to previous prices. We are in a completely new regime and stocks aren't remotely close to discounting a global trade war.
