I'm convinced the meaning of life is to reach the event horizon at Sagittarius A*. Of course we'll have many transformations by then. A long the way I want to be a neutrino.

The Library of Congress is a repository library, meaning that EVERY book and many other journals and publications published in the U.S. are put there. EVERY BOOK! She didn't SELECT them, you ignorant, racist twats.
Reporter: The president fired the Librarian of Congress. Why?

Leavitt: There were quite concerning things she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and putting inappropriate books in the library for children.

Folks should take a look at JD Vance’s Twitter timeline & then think about how the national press has covered him vs. how they covered VP Harris. Racial & gender bias are a heckuva drug for some in the political press.

Perhaps it's time for the Democrats to stop with niceties and remind the public that we are the government and the services are how we ensure we operate as we intend. They are not a burden or an attack. Admin, QA, etc are required. Chaos is stupid. Use those words!

As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to “save” the country as they see fit

I maxed out my credit card, emptied my savings account, and took out a loan to move from Alabama to Bethesda, MD. I don’t even qualify for unemployment since I’ve only worked at NIH for a month. I will be financially and medically devastated.

Seeking suggestions for anywhere that’s hiring!!
Today, along with 2,000 other NIH employees, I had to clear out my office 😭

It was truly the honor of my life to work with such incredibly passionate people focused on improving human health. I’ve never experienced a more positive culture where *everyone* cared about their job and serving others.
