there is an enormous gulf between 'air strikes on Iran' and 'attempting to invade and occupy Iran' and one shouldn't be conflated with the other, especially since the consequences of the first will likely be bad enough by themselves.

Unironically a coordinated, unified repudiation of all the idiocracy and blatant theft we’ve been seeing from all levels of society is the only way to stop it. Get in their way. Grind them down. Say no. Push back at the private and public level. Get your friends involved. Our country needs us now.

Why does Donald Trump suddenly know South Africa is a country? Could it be there’s an unelected, white South African national with undue influence in our foreign policy?
The US is now suspending support to South Africa and allowing resettlement and "refugee" status only for white south Africans ("Afrikaner"). This is so blatantly racist.

Back in February 22, that other site was indispensable in providing fast and accurate news. Now all I see is either blatant disinformation or the most vile takes imaginable. And that’s all the algorithm gives me. No more people I know or even meme accounts. Just hate and death.
