Now? I manage a kitchen, thrive in my community, and race Ironman triathlons!

Colorado becomes the first state to set a UPL on prescription medication.

We are fighting to cut the cost of health care for EVERYONE! #ProtectOurCare #DemCast
No one should have to choose between basic needs and life-saving medicine. Colorado just became the first state to cap the cost of a critical drug—an important step toward affordable prescriptions for all.

@stevevladeck.bsky.social is clear: Trump cannot do whatever he wants with Federal troops in American cities.

"The problem ...is that many Americans don’t believe the president’s claims. We look at pictures and videos out of Portland and we don’t see “war-ravaged” anything. ..

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

RFK Jr. is "endangering the health of the nation.”

We’ve previously called for RFK Jr.’s resignation, this moment confirms why. Patient health must come before politics.

Republicans are still trying to pass their Big Betrayal Bill.

They held the previous vote open for hours—and STILL don’t have their shit together.

Maybe the problem isn’t the vote count. Maybe it’s the bill.

You can hold the vote open all night…trash is still trash.

If passed, the SAVE Act would limit access to our democracy for millions of eligible voters.

The House has already passed it, but the Senate can still stop it in its tracks.

Tell your Senator to REJECT this bill in defense of our voting rights.
Stop the SAVE Act
The SAVE Act would keep millions of people from being able to vote – and would shut countless eligible voters out of our democracy. Urge Congress to reject this bill now.

Well my five year streak of never getting covid has sadly come to an end. Not a very good time. I think I got through the worst of it with a disgusting amount of DayQuil but I’ve never had such a fucked up sore throat in my life

I've had a secret theory for a while that I guess I'll just throw out there:

The right is inevitably going to turn on AI, not because LLMs hallucinate or get things wrong, but because they mostly *get things right*, and reality, as a great man once said, has a liberal bias.
Uh oh. He’s just going to have to shut this thing off.

When I was growing up autistic kids were "hyper" or "had water on the brain" and there was always a raft of "weird kids" who were socially ostracized because they had a hard time people-ing. If you don't think autism existed before it was commonly called "autism," it's because you chose not to see.
My dad truly believed that people just didn't have autism when he was growing up and I had to be the one to break it to him that autistic people who didn't fit in WERE PUT INTO INSTITUTIONS
