A familiar narrative has emerged about local election results: the notion that voters have delivered a wholesale rejection of criminal justice reform and ended the era of prosecution reform.

Hunter's pardon better be the first of a huge flurry of commutations. There are so many cases even more deserving than this one that the Pardon Attorney has recommended granting, and they're just waiting for Biden's signature. It would be inexcusable to see injustice only when it's a family member.

I’m terrified of bird flu and can’t decide if I’m irrationally afraid or very rationally afraid.
Bird flu has been discovered in a batch of raw milk sold in California store refrigerators, state regulators said Sunday. While there have been no reported illnesses in this most recent case, it comes just a few days after a child tested positive for bird flu for the first time in U.S. history.

The H5N1 virus was found in a sample of unpasteurized milk at a store, prompting a recall of one batch. Health agencies have warned against the growing dietary fad.

To underscore: Kennedy Jr. will actually kill people. Mostly children. And only a contemptible monster like Trump would position him to do that and think nothing of it.
