My most Boomer-coded opinion is that TV shows should release one season every year. On what planet is Wednesday season 2 going to be worth almost 3 years' wait? I don't understand what's driving these multi-year lead times because it's not like they're spending that time on the writing.

Tbh every other channels player gets called "[channel name] Iplayer" in our house, "ITV Iplayer", etc, which i feel is testament to the notion of picking a name and sticking with it.
I think that a reason BBC iPlayer has done so well as it that it has never changed its name.
The temptation to get rid of ‘i’ must have been there as it serves no purpose but it is known by everyone, so they don’t.
