Vancouver residents!

Join me in complaining about Mayor Ken Sim's conflict of interest in pushing official bitcoin use in the City of Vancouver

He clearly has bitcoin investments, and his plans would increase their value. This is unethical and possibly even illegal

Links below
How much money does Ken Sim have invested into Bitcoin? Has he revealed that?

Pushing it like this will increase the value of his portfolio, which is clearly a conflict of interest, isn't it?

CoV Integrity Commissioner and BC Ombudsperson contacted.

Here's hoping they can reign this dope in

People are amused by the German word for sloth, "Faultier", which just means lazy animal.
But at least we didn't come up with "hard hat".

So apparently the bottom is soldered onto cooking pots.
I was heating up some stainless steel ball bearings to get them dry and got distracted. 1/2

I knew that any time something is called the "National" this or that without naming the nation in question, it's almost always the USA.
This is a new level:
"Despite its name, the International Code Council is not an international organization, its codes are rarely used outside the United States"

In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

There's a #Vancouver #TeslaTakedown event on March 29.

Info: actionnetwork.org/events/tesla... #boycottTesla

Hurting Tesla's bottom line is an effective way of attacking the Trump regime & Elon's influence.

There's also one Sat. March 22 in #Langley (see below).

Joe Rogan really cares about Jeffrey Epstein's victims, which is why he really wants to see Epstein's flight logs released.

Except, they've already been released, a year ago. Which Joe would know, if his interest was genuine, and not just crass sensationalism.

Just reported Tim Hortons to the city again, because nothing happened since I reported this violation a year or so ago.
Apparently lefty inclusive New Westminster @newwestminster.bsky.social doesn't care THAT much if people have a place to shit.

To rephrase this as dorkily as possible:

It sucks that we have to live through the Eugenics Wars, but I'm still going to work towards Starfleet and Federation ideals

I'm not going to give up and let the Terran Empire rise
Faith, for me, helps us remember that our work isn't all about today. A win for future generations will still be *our* win. It's bigger than our slice of time here.

This shit blows my mind.
Hardly a week goes by that I don't use Pythagoras, often even proper trigonometry. And that's not in some sort of theoretical physics research, but totally mundane stuff.
I understand it won't be weekly for everyone, but never?!
