Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

I HAVE MORE THOUGHTS! Even better ones. I think it has a really tough task of pushing a character to a specific point very quickly, and it actually lays all of those steps out very well. It just happens so fast that it doesn't necessarily feel earned, but all the work is there.

Jon M Chu did what he could to Galinda-fy a notoriously weak 2nd act. It has been changed for the better, but it's still not the best. If the movie was split because too much was essential, some bits of act 2 are too loadbearing to excise, but even padded still feel rushed. 1/2

When I evacuated from the hurricane in 2005, the Red Cross offered us cash to help with expenses.
The Salvation Army offered us "a hot meal" which was just a smoked sausage soaked in cheap barbecue sauce with a stale slice of white bread we had to say how thankful we were while getting preached at.
