Also, I think this might help people who don't have ADHD or PDA understand why we get so overwhelmed (and why things can pile up or get neglected). We weigh each part of a task as its own task. So 5 tasks can mentally be a lot more than 5.
I don't know if this would help ADHD people, but my PDA autism (similar to ADHD) means I have to make to-do lists with all parts of a task. So "vacuum the house" is actually:
1. get the vacuum out of the closet
2. plug in the vacuum
3. clear throw rugs off the floor
4. move shoes
5. vacuum

Just a friendly PSA if you want to commission artists for Christmas presents, which is a great idea btw, you have to get on the ball about it BEFORE Thanksgiving. Like do it today. I'm not doing commissions personally I just want to save you panic or disappointment. Get on that dream artist ASAP 💛

The fact that humans measure everything doesn't mean the universe must be be measured. Or that all you can do is measure it.
What I mean is. We measure time because we CAN, but the universe is under no obligation to make sense to us, certainly not according to how we decide to measure it.

I've been working in sketchbooks more as part of a class assignment; here are some of my recent sketches 👉👈 I've been trying to draw what comes to me in the moment, and not worry too much about the output or making everything perfect, but also put time into each to make it feel 'done' as a sketch.

My dad recycles the heavy duty paper covers his camera plates come in and uses them to clean his printing press, and he'll reuse them over over until they're saturated with ink. If he thinks they're pretty or might be good to draw on he'll give them to me LOL.

I genuinely love seeing amateur art because I genuinely love seeing how other people perceive things. To me, there's no information on earth more useful, more wonderful, or more enlightening than how other people process living.
