Ed Davey asks to stand up to Trump's threats to Europe and to strengthen the UK with a Customs Union with the EU

Stramer dodges the Trump comment, and says post Brexit trade deals outside the EU are better than a Customs Union with the EU

Labour under Starmer makes us smaller and poorer

How many times do we need to point this out?
By appeasing the far right, you do not weaken it. You strengthen it.
While weakening your own position.
There's a vast amount of academic research showing this.
But Labour will not listen.

I once almost drowned on a school trip to a wave pool. I remember just being trapped below the surface, far too exhausted to thrash or even swim. A tiny old German lady spotted me, dragged me out and yelled at me while I lay there & choked. Likely she saved my life and I never even said danke schön
Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

Israel is a nuclear armed genocidal rogue state.

It is allowed to commit every war crime under the sun - armed and facilitated by the West.

Yet you hear so few people saying these truths on TV.

Here's what I said this morning.

I realize posting this here is preaching to the choir. But after the Grok White Genocide thing & Ye essentially launching an exclusive Neo Nazi single on the platform... I felt motivated to write about X and how bizarre it is that so many people (news outlets, celebrities, politicians) use it

Look up
These are real images of exoplanets.

Four super-Jupiters, imaged 10 times over 12 years around a star 133 lightyears away.

These are real, giant worlds, out there in the dark.

And we can see them.

We continue down this ridiculous road because politicians are too scared to re-open the debate.

Good grief, can we desist with this nonsense. Barring convicted criminals from holding office - especially criminals convicted of abuses of power - is just basic civic sense. The option of not stealing taxpayers' money was right there. www.economist.com/leaders/2025...
