Update: At this morning’s daily meeting, FEMA Acting Administrator Richardson spoke briefly only to say he has an upcoming trip to…Peru. No mention of Texas.

This is also why I think everyone serious about transit in NYC needs to completely detach from the Manhattan Institute and anyone still associating themselves with it. It’s a corrosive organization being used by authoritarians who hate New York City and public transit.

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

The detail about Meta removing the tampon machines from men’s bathrooms in the office is so virtue signaling. Probably only ever used by a handful of employees, but work for the facilities team to have to remove. Like, it took physical labor and coordination across 3 offices to do this.
