The Los Angeles Dodgers gave Kyle Tucker more money per year than Juan Soto because the team’s ownership group is actually a psyop to demoralize even the most management-hostile baseball fans into supporting a salary cap

Who needs to be “guided” through a molly experience? You’re not seeing the walls breathe, you’re grinding your teeth and having the most important and meaningful conversation of your life, it’s pretty self-explanatory

Saw some people dressed all in white in front of the Javits Building and one of them was blowing a shofar, all stuff you definitely wouldn’t see if the world was ending soon

MS NOW: Why haven't you gotten a dozen Dem senators & NYC cops, flown to Minneapolis & said to the guys wearing masks 'We've brought people who know how to operate'

SCHUMER: You're right. We need police officers to tell ICE, 'You don't know what the hell you're doing. You need real police training'

Big deal, Streetsblog has been doing "Molly Fridays with Dave Colon" for years now
New: CBS News seems to be preparing a new segment called "Whiskey Fridays with Tony Dokoupil," per sources.

Some staff were only first made aware of it as they encountered CBS testing out set designs of a faux-stocked bar in the newsroom, featuring a large sponsor banner for Jack Daniels.

Continuing to reset the Adams indictment counter even after he's left City Hall is an accomplishment. Like it's the Jets defense going a whole season without recording an interception kind of accomplishment, but it is impressive in that way
NEWS: Former Eric Adams aide and community advocate Tony Herbert has been arrested and charged in an SDNY indictment with taking bribes and kickbacks while working at City Hall, along with several fraud offenses. He’s set to appear in court later today.

A lot of people out there are failing the Dave Colon Test (make a public spectacle of yourself as a reporter but don’t actually be the story)
I cannot emphasize how much “be the news” is the opposite of what I was taught about how to be a good journalist and strikes me as an excellent way to churn out elite solipsism that has nothing to do with the public interest and everything to do with self promotion www.nytimes.com/2026/01/13/b...
