I notice this is how men end up being not so great fathers. They love their kids, but that love doesn’t trump their self-centeredness.
Men are allowed so much space to be self-centered that some of us really can't see how much weight we expect our partners to carry. "It's hard being a Black man." Absolutely. And not only do Black women have it hard TOO, but you expect them to give you grace you don't reciprocate.
