How the Ivorian president's niece acted as Epstein's go-between

This part. Throughout the files you see people of status begging and willing to sell their souls to be in the club.
I did NOT believe this before I heard the fresh air podcast- that Elon musk had no interest in the sex trafficking/sex abuse part of that island. Then I heard that broadcast and I was like- he may or may not have had any interest in the sex- what he was really there for was to get an IN on oligarchy

It hasn’t been talked about much but another discussion is how POC were begging to be down with Epstein and his crew. Offering up themselves, their country, their people to be down with them.

This is what I find that’s overlooked. She was leading the sex trafficking of children.
This is exactly how the journalist on NPR explained it. They were coming together first and foremost as Oligarchs. And then Ghislaine Maxwell was like, oh look, here’s some side perks for you!

Child sex trafficking was HER main enterprise that all those men participated in-
I think we should be doing as much talking about the economic destabilization that Epstein & Co. were doing as we are about the child sex trafficking.

Because, those men plotted a new world order of racial and economic exploitation and then raped children as a treat

the tech industry has been making a killing on education. They were also behind the push of the privatization of public education. I believe you can have your child’s K-12 education all online in some states.

I wonder if this is similar to how costs of water usage by farms or corporations is passed on to residents.
I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED!

Remember most of this is redacted so we had to figure it out!

Power is paid for 2 ways: FRP & CAIC

The Formula Rate Plan is a line item on our bill every month. It covers the cost to generate and deliver power.

This is approved by the PSC (5 electeds in BR).
I been meaning to ask, what is the structure, for lack of better term, that is allowing them to push costs to residential bills?

I‘ve read a draft and this book deserves all the praise that’s already rolling in and the accolades to follow when it’s released. @thrasherxy.bsky.social wrote a brilliant and brutal account of complicity with white supremacy.
Publishers Weekly gives a ⭐STARRED REVIEW⭐ to The Overseer Class: a "blistering follow-up to The Viral Underclass...By turns maddening and inspiring, this shines a harsh light on a political dead end in order to illuminate real possibilities for change." (I am now 4/4 for ⭐stars from the trades)

Between that and the way he says “sussudio” isn’t the same way it’s spelled. Where’s the third “u”? Where is the other “s”. 😂

It kills me because they often have a better understanding of the system and Black folks than a lot of these well read Black radicals.

Frankly, I know dudes who got and get money from illegal means and as I’ve become older I had to accept that a lot of these dudes are bootlickers. They’re more Jay-Z than Detroit Red.

This is two sided because on one hand, the criminals have supported the people, on the other hand they are often the prime candidates fascists hire to do their dirty work. They love hiring criminals that look like you, to oppress you.
If you think that organized crime is not a part of the resistance then baby idk what to tell you.

When you are resisting a regime as a group, what do you think you’re doing?

At least the Black underworld use to fund the CRM.

The truth is, poverty is an unforgivable crime. My enoughchild is dying before my eyes because of poverty
If I had money,I could have saved his life
I see the world saving the lives of animals while my child, who is supposed to be human, will die without anyone saving his life

We need more of the diaspora on this list. Ruto most definitely. Tinubu too.

I literally don’t understand having that much money and still can’t tell people to kiss your ass. Especially when there are people who make much less who move that way.

The way Detroit’s bankruptcy was a dry run for Puerto Rico’s.

in the sense that although yes we have legit problems and danger, EVERYTHING YOU/YOUR ELDERS EVER HEARD BAD ABOUT DETROIT is mostly rooted in white fury that black people dared to stand up for ourselves against oppression and run our own shit.

i am dead fucking serious.

and it all started with a bunch of southern migration black people > white flight & a bunch of maltreatment/brutality > civil/black workers rights movements > FIRST BLACK MAYOR who vowed to end said brutality.

i don't mean to be hyperbolic but there's parallels to haiti here:

Evidence of them continuing to punish us is easy to see today. You can use Google Maps to show nearly every major chain restaurants’ or stores’ locations in Michigan and see the big ass empty area in SE Michigan where there are none. That’s Detroit.
I just…. I don’t think the price Black Detroit paid in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s for just standing up for ourselves economically will ever be realized. The same shit they do to Global South countries they did to us.

We’re at 181/1100, we’re over the 10% of the goal! Thank you all!

Every minute counts.
Let’s keep it up!

They don’t. “The jobs left” narrative does A LOT, and I mean A LOT of heavy lifting in Detroit’s story.
