People don’t know that corporations make products sold at “deals”just for the holiday shopping season. I would tell customers that if they could wait until January and February when the previous year models are discounted they could get a better TV at a good price.

You just reminded me about the shitty TVs people were excited to buy on Black Friday when I worked retail. There were a few of good quality, but most were cheap for a reason. People didn’t care. They see big TV for cheap and jump on it.

yeah, I can see that there now that i think about it. i’m surprised you can still get them installed. I thought they fell out of fashion because they caused issues during house fires. Fire departments had trouble rescuing people and putting out fires when they were on the house.

it is. a step up from the bars we had over the basement windows during the crack-era. I don’t recall seeing them outside of the city.
