This is the right move. Parents and guardians should determine religious instruction for their children. Not public schools.

Here’s to hoping I don’t have to pull out the mom look again any time soon!

I am hopeful for sunnier days ahead for Oklahoma teachers, students and families.

This is the same exact process for starting any school club or activity. Chess club, Robotics club, you name it.

If a group of students want to start a club, they find a willing teacher sponsor and they can start one. Parent permission is generally required.

The OK Supreme Court has paused the new social studies standards.

Schools will stick w 2019 standards, as a lawsuit argues the new rules push religion into classrooms & sidestep the law.

Our kids deserve facts, not politics—& I’ll keep standing up for OK families & educators. #okleg #education

Yesterday, a man was killed, a father to little ones lost. My own family has known that very same heartache, and I grieve for them.

Yesterday, children at school were targeted by a gunman, and mothers began worrying at hospital bedsides.

Don’t hate the 918.

The governor’s anti-Tulsa propaganda video is deeply offensive.

It is an interesting move to attack a city in his own state. Especially one whose economic impact is a critical driver of Oklahoma’s success.

I have to wonder 1/

Lilly fought for fair pay for women in the workplace, taking Goodyear all the way to the US Supreme Court (a case she lost on a technicality) but which umtimately led to the passage of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009.

Yes, 2009.

“If we want to be competitive in all the things we’re offering as a state, we need to have housing supply that meets the needs of individuals and of the employers we’re hoping to bring to the state,” Rep. Suzanne Schreiber said.

Officials say outdated construction rules make it too costly to build affordable residences. Lawmakers are weighing how to cut red tape without cutting corners on safety.

Ryan Walters’ new ‘America First’ teacher exam is politics, not policy. Oklahoma has a teacher shortage—this test won’t help. I’ll keep fighting for real solutions: better pay, support, and respect for teachers. #oklaed to #okleg

OK legislator here. Former principal. Last I checked, adding additional tests required legislative approval.

We already have a severe teacher shortage. This narrative will drive more from ever entering the classroom.

It begs the question: who is making money off this deal?
Y’all — OKLAHOMA superintendent Ryan Walters (who just got caught looking at porn) is now making teachers take a *conservative* purity test to show they believe in things like the 2020 election was stolen?
