It’s heavy. The contrast between today and yesterday hurts my heart.

We are one nation. We are all Americans. We are all human.

United we must stand.

Today, I remember and honor the lives lost on 9-11-2001.

I wish all the families, today and yesterday, peace and light. /end

Yesterday, calls for violence against fellow Americans littered social media.

Today, I awake to the memory of what happened in our country just 24 years ago.

A violent moment that united us as one nation through sorrow and grief and disbelief.

if our tax dollars were used to create and distribute the video.

I love our city, and this is not okay.

The Governor needs to remove his offensive video and issue an apology to the people of our city. Full stop.

I was pleased to run into so many familiar faces in the packed room, including @SenatorJoannaDossett!
