Leaving education to the states is why the federal department was created. If we believe all kids have potential, then we need to enforce it.

Spent yesterday planning (not plotting… promise) session strategy with the Women’s Caucus co-chairs.

The setup at the National was chef’s kiss for big ideas and bigger possibilities. Feeling fired up about what we can tackle together for our state. 💪✨

There’s nothing ‘neutral’ about tech that profits from keeping kids online longer.

Oklahoma families deserve transparency, age-appropriate protections, & policies that put children’s wellbeing over ad algorithms.

Tech shouldn’t shape our kids’ futures in the dark. #oklahoma

This is a circus.
The new Pentagon press corps is batshit‼️

Full of QAnon conspiracy theorists, TikTok influencers, clickbait bloggers, deep state hunters, and an accused pedo.

Not a serious journalist in the bunch.

Great weekend on the doors! 🙌 I had so many meaningful conversations with neighbors who care deeply about Oklahoma’s future. Grateful for the support, the stories, and the shared hope. Onward! 💙

Our state cannot ignore tribal sovereignty. Ripping up hunting/fishing compacts and citing tribal hunters is wrong. I’ll fight for respect, treaty rights, and true collaboration. #TribalSovereignty

✨ November is Diabetes Awareness Month — and today, my heart is full. Sawyer and Spencer emceed the OKC Walk for a Cure at Scissortail Park, and together, we helped raise $90,000 for breakthrough T1D research. 💙💪 #T1DStrong #BreakthroughT1D #DiabetesAwarenessMonth

Incredible visit to the Oklahoma School for the Deaf.

The students, staff, & campus were so welcoming. After years on Appropriations, it’s powerful to see the real stories behind our investments. Grateful for the chance to learn more & spend time with these amazing kids.

Open the government, protect health insurance subsidies, raise the minimum wage, & fine co.'s paying so little their full-time workers qualify for subsidies.

The pleas to stop hunger & protect childcare fell on deaf ears. Now that leisure, recreation, & the travel industry overall might be impacted? All hands on deck. Has capitalism made us great yet?
Corporates going from “no impact” on earnings calls to “please help” is the ultimate sentiment shift.

Amazon and Walmart are two of the biggest recipients of SNAP and Medicaid funds because they don't take care of their employees. Families working 40+ hours a week requiring gov subsistence. In Canada they go to food pantries to make ends meet.

Corporations are the real "welfare queens" of society

JUST IN: Officials will use $4.65 billion from USDA’s contingency fund to support roughly half of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program participants’ “current allotments” as the shutdown drags on, according to legal filing.
Trump admin will partially fund November SNAP benefits
The move comes after a federal court ordered USDA to use emergency money for the nation’s largest food aid program during the government shutdown.

We ended up having a cordial conversation even though there are big differences in our political ideals. I expressed to her my gratitude for the time and hoped that we could talk again.

These days, it feels hard to engage in dialog-but we must.

Me: I'm pro-family, and definitely pro-choice especially bc OK's laws are threatening the lives of so many mothers.

W: I think it's God's will, and we can't understand it now - but it will be revealed in time.

Me: Do you believe that God gave us the spiritual gift of science?

W: No.
