I’m surprised I’m not hearing more about Pete Hegseth’s promise to quit drinking if he gets confirmed. IF? If someone is sincere about sobriety, they would surely quit drinking BEFORE any confirmation hearings. And what about pledging to stop his sexual improprieties IF he gets confirmed?

Joe Biden pardoned his son over victimless crimes. When Trump is sworn in he will pardon terrorists who attacked our Capitol and brutally beat police officers in his name on jan 6. This is akin to Bin Laden 4 years after 9/11 being able to pardon Al Qaeda terrorists in US prisons.

I know he said he wouldn’t, but I think President Biden should pardon his son Hunter. Or at least commute his sentence, if he gets prison time. If his last name were not Biden, the gun charges would never have been brought. SCOTUS ruled that presidents have absolute immunity on pardons.
