Good news. I'm surprised, but I doubt this will be the end of it. Christofacism is marching and they won't give up. The regime will ensure the court does what it wants eventually.

A rare bit of good news from the US. Kim Davis has been married 3 times (of course she says she is a Christian) but doesn't think any same sex couple should be allowed to get married even once. Hypocritical bitch.

Absolutely right. I criticise BBC News, because we need it to be as good as we know it can be. People like Farage criticise the BBC, because they work for its competitors and don't want it to exist.
🎯 Davey is spot on. "We can have criticism of the BBC, but within that, we need to recognise how valuable an institution it is [and how] precious to our country. And that's one of the reasons why people like President Trump and Nigel Farage, want to undermine the BBC." 👏🏽~AA

Apparently, Trump has written a letter saying he's going to sue

We'd better hold the line. Make this corrupt criminal PROVE his weeping and wailing in court! He's a weakling. A lame duck. He's also on his last legs.

Do not capitulate to a felon who likely won't even survive to see a day in court!

So a US President who constantly spouts disinformation & untruths, often breaches US law, incited a riotous assault upon US Capitol to try & overthrow the result of a democratic election, complains about a single BBC programme about him that was accurate & impartial overall. Make that make sense!

Believe me- I wanted Davie gone

But not as a result of Trump & Republican influence

Not because, ridiculously, Davie’s seen as not right-wing enough!

I fear that whoever comes next will be worse

With Trump having so much sway, I can trust any decision making process regarding the BBC atm

I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

I don't often call for resignations. But Sir Robbie Gibb's role in the BBC boardroom coup makes his continued role there untenable. He must resign or be removed
‘Gibb’s supporters say he is trying to save the BBC from itself; he was also heard last year to say that if he didn’t get his way, he would “blow the place up”.’
“a group of politically-appointed directors has forced the hand of Samir Shah, the chair, and the departure of the two most senior people in the organisation. Their resignations should be called out for what they are: political interference..”1/

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …
