British Writer Pens A Description Of Trump

With apologies to all my economist friends…
A 2% wealth tax on assets over £10 million is reasonable - that's why 75% of the public support it along with 80% of millionaires.

Of course he won’t be in the frame.
But at least he cares about broadcasting.
Gary Lineker: "This is the mistake the BBC makes. The BBC tries to appease the people that hate the BBC, rather than worrying about the people that love the BBC."

I’ve seen calls for BBC to settle with Trump. But he will only accept more than he thinks he can win through litigation. Better to exploit every delaying tactic, as he did when defending his own charges. Only a change of administration or his demise can truly draw a line under this.

Even more persuasive because you can feel how painful it was to write this.
The “coup” was largely achieved already before Davie’s removal by driving out so many independent minds and cowing the rest of them.
The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

It’s going to be interesting to watch what impact this has on a consumer facing business that ties itself so closely to Farage and Reform.
Will it achieve the Tesla effect?
I’m just about to delete my Checkatrader app.

Just caught this on @lbc.co.uk news.
Glad I did as I certainly won't be using Checkatrade ever again

TripAdvisor has just offered me an "AI itinerary builder" to help me discover Stroud, where I live, and I'm struggling to hold all those thoughts in one head.

When will politicians learn that when they make unbelievable promises during an election, those who vote for them rarely expect them to be honoured and are in fact voting in the expectation that they will not?

The perfect idea for Davie’s leaving present. Let’s have a whip round to get it framed.

Sandra Bullock was born in 1964. So if she had decided to follow me on here, it feels unlikely she would be doing so from a sandrabullock58 account.

Still, you never know.
