The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

If the House and later Senate demands for the full release of the Files, what is the chance, obviously overriding a veto, that the DOJ will just say they "misplaced" the files?

Real question. If and hopefully when all the files are released, what will happen? I am talking specifically about dude in WH, what will happen? Does anyone really think he will face any punishment or recourse for any of that?

At this point, I just assume nothing good will ever happen in my life again, in any facet. Just get worse and worse.

Friend showed me that there was a huge amount of traffic over on the bad place yesterday about needing to abolish the 19th amendment.
