Donald Trump spent his first 100 days in office breaking promises and creating chaos.

It's no surprise that 45% of Americans gave him an "F" on his performance.

America was founded on the basic protection against unlawful imprisonment.

Due process is a fundamental right in our constitution.

Denying it or defending those who deny it is unamerican and illegal.
Van Hollen: "This case is not only about one man, as important as that is. It is about protecting fundamental freedoms and the fundamental principle in the Constitution for due process that protects everyone who resides in America."

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Let me say this plainly: If Trump, Elon Musk and Republicans get their way, up to a million Illinoisans will lose health care coverage.

It's time to make your voice heard — let them know if they take Medicaid away, you’ll take their job away.

So Def. Sec Hegseth changed the name of Ft Moore back to Ft Benning. As w/ Ft Bragg, they found another soldier with the same name to make it seem like they weren't just changing the name back to honor a Confederate.

But you should know who Ft Moore was named for. 🧵

We've been, correctly, beating them up for not doing anything. Today they did something and they deserve credit. Nice job, Dems. More, please.
1. Today, Senate Democrats showed spine, and killed a national transgender sports ban bill via filibuster.

Not a SINGLE Democrat voted for cloture.

How quickly has Trump changed Republicans views on Russia? Not just members of Congress, but his voters. He called Putin a victim because Trump was getting investigated over Russian collision. I don't think it can be any more obvious this point Russia is in some way manipulating our government.
