I cant fathom how people think the Democrats did the shutdown. Schumer was an idiot and voted for that CR (when we had clearer leverage) but the central theme is Trump (and the GOP)'s completely inability to compromise ever, now he wants to destroy the filibuster so he wont have to.

Beyond disapointed in the Senators from my state (NH) enabling crazy additional powers to the executive branch. You dont reward bullies and brinkmanship by giving them exactly what they want. Most people learn this incredibly obvious lesson by 1st grade. Words cant express how angry it made me!!
