Silicon Valley's CA-17. New economic patriotism & restoring American manufacturing. Pro working families. Ending endless wars. No PAC $. He/Him.
Right now, Trump is meeting the Saudi prince MBS.

That's not America First

To me, America First means meeting with Epstein survivors to make sure American girls will not be raped.

The Democratic Party hasn’t had enough competition of ideas.

It’s time for fresh, bold voices. People who have been in elected office for over 20 years shouldn’t be the future of our party.

Today, Rep. Thomas Massie & I showed that it's still possible in America to work across the aisle and make a difference for people. I hope any young person who is wondering whether politics is worth it watches this. Yes, politics still can be a noble calling. youtu.be/wJMr-kdee88

Billionaires are worth $8 trillion. It's shameful that we gave $40 billion to Argentina instead of spending $9 billion to feed American families.

How is that America First?
November 12, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Stood with Rep. Thomas Massie to watch @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social sign our discharge petition as the 218th and final signature.

Thank you to the brave survivors who made the possible. Let’s bring it to the floor for a vote!
November 12, 2025 at 10:25 PM
@chrislhayes.bsky.social, for some of us, this was never about the optics of making healthcare an issue.

This was about preventing a premium spike for 20 million Americans.

The private insurance system is broken.

This is the time we need to be screaming from the rooftops:

Medicare for All!
November 12, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Veterans have answered our nation's highest call to service and deserve our deepest gratitude and respect.
November 11, 2025 at 2:11 PM
70% of Americans disapprove of this administration’s handling of healthcare. Cutting ACA subsidies is not the solution.

This is the time to make the case and build a broad coalition for Medicare tor All.
November 10, 2025 at 7:19 PM
In 2025, first-time home buyers sank to a record low of 21%. Housing is unaffordable.

We need to take private equity out of the housing market and return purchasing power to ordinary Americans.
November 7, 2025 at 6:25 PM
The government shutdown has delayed Head Start from providing nutrition and education services to 716k children annually.

We have a bipartisan responsibility to help working families not halt assistance they rely on. We need to vote to reopen the government and provide Americans relief.

This Thursday, November 6th at 5:30pm ET I’m going live on Instagram with comedian @thetraecrowder.bsky.social to discuss the Trump administration's attack on SNAP benefits and what that means for Americans.

Shifting to Medicare for All could save $650B annually.

Improving healthcare affordability for Americans isn’t just the moral choice, it’s the smart economic choice.
October 31, 2025 at 2:54 PM
If ACA enhanced subsidies expire, at least 3.5M fewer Americans will have health insurance in 2027.

Our priority must be providing affordable healthcare to working families, not handing out tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
October 31, 2025 at 2:53 PM
USDA’s refusal to use its contingency fund means SNAP will run out on Nov. 1 and leave 42 million Americans at risk of going hungry.

Food pantries have already seen 12x more traffic than normal. It’s time for the House to return to session, vote to ensure SNAP funding, and ensure our kids are fed.
October 30, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Insurance costs are set to skyrocket for more than 20 million Americans. 100 million Americans are already in medical debt.

Why are Republicans punishing people for receiving care?

Instead, lets pass my bill with @sanders.senate.gov to eliminate medical debt from credit reports.
October 29, 2025 at 6:51 PM
No one should go into public service to make a profit.

Trump pardoned a convicted foreign billionaire who supported the Trump family’s cryptocurrency. This is corruption..
October 29, 2025 at 6:48 PM
78% of Americans favor extending ACA credits. Republicans are once again trying to reward the ultra-wealthy at the expense of regular folks.

It’s time to pass Medicare for All and solidify Americans’ right to affordable healthcare.
October 20, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Big Insurance raked in $71.3B in profits last year. If Republicans don’t extend ACA credits, average premiums will raise 114%.

The reality is, the system is broken for all Americans. We need to implement permanent protections and finally pass Medicare for All.

Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating in our community and around the world. It is a reminder of hope, the triumph of good over evil, and an opportunity to express gratitude.
October 20, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Without the extension of ACA credits, healthcare costs will increase nationwide. Wyoming will see a 693% increase, while West Virginia could see as high as 654%.

We need to make healthcare affordable, not crush Americans with high costs.

I am relieved that the hostages are released & home. I am glad that Israel has committed to stop the bombing & withdraw. As an American, I appreciate the work the President, his team & our allies did to secure the release. I hope it is a first step towards 2 states and a just peace.
October 13, 2025 at 2:55 PM
@democracynow.org had @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social and me on together to explain that she is not being sworn in because she is the 218th signatory for the release of the Epstein files. Swear her in today.
October 8, 2025 at 6:27 PM
I heard from David's family that he is in Jordan and released. So are all Americans who were on the flotilla. They will be sleeping through the night, and their flights home are arranged for the morning. Thank you to the thousands of activists and journalists across our nation for your advocacy.
My California colleagues & I are calling for the release & safe return home of the US citizens that were on the Flotilla & are detained in Israel, including arranging the logistics of a plane to ensure their speedy recovery.
October 7, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Without the renewal of ACA subsidies, the average healthcare premium will increase 114%.

Ordinary Americans are already struggling to afford everyday things. Instead of bringing prices down, Trump is fighting to increase healthcare costs.
October 7, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Two years ago, Hamas launched a horrific and brutal terrorist attack against the Israeli people. We must never forget the innocent lives taken and we must continue calling for the unconditional return of all hostages.
